Reading of the Week

Theme: Satisfaction and Alignment

Sometimes when you've held onto a dream for so long, you start to lose the excitement, almost like you're breaking out of the honeymoon phase.

This is normal but you can spice things up by remembering why you started. Lean into self-discipline and your inner work to boost your motivation during this time.

You chose this path and this week is about enjoying the journey. The frustration you've been feeling can often stem from being so attached to the goal that you miss the beauty along the way. Keep your head up as the fruits of your labor start to grow and you might feel a shift in your perspective about what growth actually looks like. Satisfaction is on the other side of transformation.

Don't let go of the reigns because you're bored, remain structured, tie up any loose ends, and remain a student especially when you feel like you have it all together, there's always more to learn.

Recommendation:

Make a schedule and pencil in some fun.

Do you remember what it feels like to have a hobby that isn't attached to your purpose? Sometimes rest looks like a mental break from capitalism/your goals/etc in the form of FUN.

As often as you need to, take time to be curious again to explore things outside of your normal habits. That's the real secret sauce.
